Upcoming events:
We will take a two weeks break for Chinese New Year. There is no meeting tonight. The next chapter meeting is on 22nd February at Sheraton Towers.

CNY gathering
Also do join us for our special Chinese New Year gathering on Friday, 26th February 2010 (venue to be announced soon)! Please RSVP to Vanessa Ching (peridothalo@gmail.com).

A special highlight- We will be having 5 Prepared Speeches. Members who wish to do their Projects on that day are most welcomed (please contact Jeffrey Williams aws100@singnet.com.sg). We will limit it to 5 speakers only.

We will be catering for Halal and vegetarian food also. There will be some light entertainment on top of the “yee sang” (tossing of the fish) for members and the club’s prosperity. Guests are welcome.

We will be having our EGM Meeting after the Chapter meeting to vote for a member to take the role of Vice President Education in the EXCO committee. The EXCO Committee is also looking for assistants to help out the EXCO committee. These assistants will be voted for.

We would also like to thank our guest evaluator, Sean Loke, in advance for coming to our meeting today.

For guests, we are located at Sheraton Towers Hotel (a 5 minute walk from Newton MRT). For those who are driving, complimentary parking coupons will be provided. Dinner is served at 6.45pm and the meeting starts at 7.15pm.

Chapter Meeting

Come join us at our club’s mixer - meet other members at our first 2nd Monday Members Nite for a casual evening of networking and getting-to-know-yous.

There are no Table Topics or Prepared Speeches, only good food and fun!

WHAT’s ON Free and easy networking. Dinner and drinks start as early as 6.30 pm.

There is a pool table, open patio and bar.

Cost and payment is pay as you go. You can order from a good selection of steaks or pasta from the menu. Vegetarian options are also available. Each guest to settle their own bill.There is a 1 for 1 promotion (for the main courses) so the more the merrier! You are welcome to bring your partners or guests along.

As the Language Evaluator revealed the word of the day, I am sure that many of us at TMCS felt the appropriateness of this selection. This evening, Sally Maier aka Sally Yip, CC performed her final duty to TMCS as toastmaster of the evening. She will be relocating to London in the new year. Sally played the role of Secretary from 08/09. TMCS wishes Sally all the best in her future undertakings.
